AI-generated text, images and video can be difficult to recognise. Families need understandable ways to discuss that uncertainty and help young people develop the habit of looking more closely.
iSpyAI is being developed around a simple traffic-light indication: green for likely human-created material, amber for uncertainty and red for signs of AI generation. A plain-language explanation helps make the result a starting point for a conversation.
- Content awareness.Checks for signs of AI generation across text, images and video.
- Understandable results.Clear explanations that communicate uncertainty alongside an indication.
- Family conversations.Ways for parents and young people to discuss what they encounter and why a result deserves attention.
- Everyday use.An experience shaped around browsing and sharing material across devices.
An AI-content indication is not proof of how something was made. It cannot establish whether the content is true or safe. The product is intended to encourage closer inspection and discussion, with those limits made clear.
iSpyAI is in development and is not yet publicly available. This overview describes the product direction and the experience we are working towards.
Our role covers product design and development, with particular attention to communicating uncertain results and making the experience useful to families.
